2. Paul Warren
The gaffer has been with the club since 2012, and took up the managerial reins in 2016.
Played as a striker in his first few seasons with the Mighty Shane due to his excellent link-up play and shooting ability, Sam has been moved back to his more natural position in the center of midfield in recent seasons. Though very successful up top in his early days with the team, his move back into the midfield has reaped dividends for the team. His vision, selflessness on the ball, and clever movement, coupled with his exceptional passing ability, make him the midfield maestro that holds the team together. Compared frequently to Santi Cazorla, all of the Mighty Shane's positive moves tend to go through Sam.
Since he took over as manager, the team has experienced success the likes of which hadn't been seen in years. His positive attitude and tactical nous have proven effective and very popular with the team.
He's notched an assist already in the Mighty Shane's opening game of the 2017 season, and everyone at the club is hoping he can build on his current rich vein of form.
